       A. Contestando las oraciones en forma  contraria.

 

Por favor conteste las preguntas usando el pretérito y luego responda con el antónimo (opuesto) de la palabra subrayada

Please, answer the questions using the preterit of the verb, and then respond with the antonym (opposite) of the underlined word.

 

Ejemplo: 

¿El costo del hospital fue muy caro? (barato)  

Was the cost of the hospital very expensive? (inexpensive)

            Sí, fue muy caro.
Yes, it was very expensive.

              No, fue  barato.
No, it was inexpensive.

Ejercicios: 

1. ¿Ustedes fueron al hospital para hablar con el doctor, antes de ver al paciente,? (después)
Did you go to the hospital to talk to the doctor before you saw the patient?

        Sí, nosotros  . . . .  al hospital para hablar con el doctor, antes  del ver al paciente.
Yes, we went to the hospital to talk to the doctor before we saw the patient.

        No, nosotros . . . .  al hospital para hablar con el doctor ................... de ver al paciente.
No, we went to the hospital to talk to the doctor after we saw the patient.

2. ¿Le diste mucha agua al paciente?(poca)
Did you give the patient a lot of water?

        Sí, le . . . .  mucha agua al paciente.
Yes, I gave the patient a lot of water.

No, I gave the patient a bit of  water.

3. ¿Fueron buenos los espectáculos? (malos)  
Were the shows good?

4. ¿Hiciste algo la noche del sábado? (nada)  
Did you do something Saturday night?

    B. Oraciones en pretérito.

 

Por favor  complete las siguientes oraciones con el pretérito de los verbos: ir ser, dar  y hacer

1. Alguién llamó el domingo por la mañana.  No ............. yo.
Somebody called Sunday morning. It was not me.

2. Yo no ............... nada durante el fin de semana. Lo único que ................... fue descansar y dormir.
I did not do anything during the weekend. The only thing I did was rest and sleep.

3. Sergio y yo ........................... la tarea durante la semana pasada.
Sergio and I did the homework during last week.

4. Nosotros le ........................... un auto a mi hermana el año pasado.
Last year we gave a car to my sister. 

5. Ella ........................... mi profesora de español el semestre pasado.
She was my Spanish teacher last semester.

6. ¿A qué hora ........................... ellos al cine?
At what time they went to the movies?

7. ¿Tú ........................... también al cine ? ¿Con quién .......... al cine?
Did you also go to the movies? With whom did you go to the movies?

    C. Un día en la casa.

 

Por favor  complete las oraciones con la correcta conjugación del verbo en pretérito.

Please complete the following sentences with the correct preterit conjugation.

 

Mis hermanos (empezar) ........................... el día a las cinco de la mañana.  Mi hermana mayor Natalia, (hacer) ........................... jugo de naranja y después, mi hermano Daniel (ir) ........................... a pasear.  Natalia (salir) ........................... afuera y les (dar) ........................... agua a los gatos.  Más tarde, ella (volver) ...................... a la cocina y nos (preparar) ........................... el desayuno. My brothers started the day at 5:00 in the morning. My older sister Natalia, made orange juice, and later my brother Daniel went for a walk. Natalia went out and gave water to the cats. Later, she returned to the kitchen and prepared breakfast for us. My small brother and I made our homework and later we went to play at the garden. There, I climbed the olive trees. My brother picked up the olives from the highest trees. Then, Natalia called us for lunch. After lunch, we went to play again. Later, Natalia gave us some ice cream and I ate them sitting under the olive tree.

     D. Una historia original.
