Indicative of -er Verbs
a) The present tense of -er verbs in
Spanish is used to convey the idea of an action taking place at the present
time. The stem of the verb is the infinitive form less the -er
ending. All -er regular verbs are conjugated in the present tense of the
indicative by removing the infinitive ending and adding the the appropriate
personal endings to the stem of the verb as follows:

describe what is going on at the moment.

Explanation:
- It refers to the present action (I eat apples every morning)
- It is an emphatic way to express action (I do in fact eat apples every
morning)
- It refers an action in progress (I am in the process of eating apples)
- This form expresses immediate future
c) The present tense of -er verbs are
used to describe what happens regularly or repeatedly, or something which is
true or valid at that moment.
